The New Mexico Parkinson’s Forum is a collaborative virtual workspace for Parkinson’s Disease Support Groups and Advocates who want to make New Mexico a better place for People with Parkinsons (PwP), People with other Movement Disorders, their care partners, and supporting agencies.

The forum can be a way to:

  • share information, group knowledge, and requests,
  • promote advocacy for Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders awareness and services at the local, county, and state levels in New Mexico, and
  • think together about how we can make New Mexico into a “Parkinson's Friendly” place to live and work.

The forum uses Groups.IO, a discussion-list platform that will provide privacy for any discussions. You can visit the forum’s home page at https://nmpdforum.groups.io/g/community. Joining the forum will connect you to other members via private discussion lists that you can access by ordinary email or a web browser.

The forum is not a replacement for our independent support groups or agencies; it is intended to facilitate knowledge sharing about Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders in New Mexico.

Membership in the forum is free.
