The New Mexico Parkinson’s Forum is a collaborative virtual workspace for Parkinson’s Disease Support Groups and Advocates who want to make New Mexico a better place for People with Parkinson's and other Movement Disorders, their care partners, and supporting organizations.

The forum is a way to:

  • Share information and knowledge,
  • Advocate for greater awareness and access to services for Parkinson's and other Movement Disorders at the local, county, and state levels in New Mexico, and
  • Think creatively together about how to make New Mexico a “Parkinson's Friendly” place to live and work.

The forum uses Groups.IO, a discussion-list platform that will provide privacy for any discussions. You can visit the forum’s home page at https://nmpdforum.groups.io/g/community. Joining the forum will connect you to other members via private discussion lists that you can access by ordinary email or a web browser.

The forum is not a replacement for our independent support groups or organizations; it is intended to facilitate knowledge sharing about Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders in New Mexico.

Membership in the forum is free.
